All About Me Poem

If I were a vehicle I would be a Lamborghini because
I want to be faster at work.
If I were a building I would be a shopping centre so I
can help people with their shopping.
If I were an animal I would be a lion because I can
fight a lot of times.
If I were a food I would be a pizza because all the
pizza toppings are different and I do a lot of
different things.
If I were an item of clothing I would be a pair of
shoes because I like walking.
If I were a country I would be America because I
can go to Disneyland and it will be lots of fun.
If I were a song I would be Happy because I am
always happy.
If I were a movie I would be Goosebumps because
I need to face my fears.

I saw, I felt, I wonder, I heard

  I heard a countdown before the rocket went into space. I heard the flames from the rocket burning up high in the sky. I saw the flames burning up in the sky. I saw the rocket disappearing through the clouds. I felt nervous because I might get hurt. I felt excited because it was cool when it went into space. I wonder what it would be like if I was in the rocket. I wonder if the rocket ran out of petrol.

Anzac day is a day to remember the soldiers who died in the war and tried to get rid of the bad guys that were trying to kill them. It was a long war from 1914 to 1918. World war 1 was when soldiers went and fought in  another country. The soldiers were shot by the other soldiers and no one survived the war. They fought at Gallipoli where everyone else was and when the war was on it looked like a desert. They landed at the wrong place. Many soldiers died there.  Anzac Day is also a public holiday when we have parades, eat Anzac biscuits and wear poppies. All the shops were closed on Anzac day at 1 pm.
